A video of a male celebrity giving a sermon to the Catholic Bishops in defense of the President-elect Rodrigo Duterte has been making the rounds online.
In a Facebook post shared more than 1500 times as of Wednesday afternoon, Comedian and TV host Arnell Ignacio published a video offering an unsolicited advice to the Catholic Bishops in light of the heated word war between the Church leaders and the incoming President Rodrigo Duterte.
In the video, the male celebrity told the Bishops to stop picking a fight with the incoming President and mind their own backyards, otherwise, things could get ugly.
The ever articulate and opinionated celebrity accused the Catholic priests of giving preferential treatment to politicians in exchange for money to march down the aisle during the mass offertory to gain political mileage.
Instead of attacking the policy pronouncements of the incoming President, Mr. Ignacio told the Bishops to focus on their job as shepherds of their flock.
The three-minute video has been viewed more than 168,000 times online since it was posted early dawn today, 25th of May 2016.
