Mayor Duterte to Modernize Mindanao by Building a P75-Billion Mindanao Railway System

The first President from the island of Mindanao, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City is now working on one of his biggest and most ambitious project to modernize the island by building a P75-Billion Mindanao Railway System under his watch as President of the Republic of the Philippines.

The ambitious P75-Billion Mindanao Railway System aims to connect the different parts of the island of Mindanao who needs a fast way to deliver goods. The administration of Mayor Duterte revealed that the railway system in Mindanao is one of his priority project, because of it's importance in ensuring low-cost food for the nation. 

During a previous meeting with the farmer-leaders in Kidapawan City, Mayor Duterte's running-mate revealed the importance of the railway project. He was quoted as saying "The Mindanao Railway System is a long delayed project. It has been studied and approved but no funds have been allocated for the project,” Cayetano told the farmer-leaders in Kidapawan City.

Most people living in the second largest island in the country, Mindanao thought that their dream of modernization in the promised land will be become a dream forever, but because of Mayor Rody Duterte's ascencion to Malacanang, everything may become possible. 

Mayor Rody Duterte's platform is focused on infrastructure, peace and order and low-food cost that every Filipino needs badly during this time of crisis and uncertainty of government's programs for the Filipino people until a President Duterte came to the rescue.
